Then it curls, browns, and goes in the garbage. Drying is not a compromise. It is how the color, the aroma and the oils get to stay.

The questions we get
Can you eat it?
Yes. It is fruit and nothing else, so it is food in the ordinary sense. Most people leave the wheel on the glass and never think about it again, which is also fine. It is there to be looked at and smelled as much as eaten.
Does it go soft in the drink?
Slowly. Over the course of a drink it takes on a little of what it is sitting in and softens at the edge. It does not fall apart, cloud the glass, or leave anything behind.
What is in it?
Citrus. That is the whole ingredient list. Nothing added, nothing sprayed on to hold the color.
How long does it keep?
Sealed, months rather than hours. Once you open it, keep the lid on and keep it dry and it will hold for a long while. Somewhere cool and out of direct sun is ideal.
Where do you ship?
Within the continental United States, meaning the 48 contiguous states and Washington DC. We are not able to reach Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the other territories yet. If that is you, email hello@garnishlabpb.com and we will tell you the day it changes.
Where it earns its place
It started with cocktails. It did not stay there.
Cocktails and the drinks that skip the alcohol. The aroma lifts before the first sip.
Between the cheese and the cured things, adding color to a board that is otherwise beige. Still crisp when it is cleared.
Dropped into tea, mulled wine, a braise, or a syrup left to sit overnight.
Scattered down a runner or tied to a napkin. It looks like effort because it is.
